Larry's birthday is 11-01-08. He is a lab mix. He is black and semi long haired. We do not know what he is mixed with. He does have really webbed feet! He was pulled from the Sparta Animal Shelter. He will be a large dog over 50 pounds when full grown. He is very very smart and will make an excellent training project. He is current on his shots and just had all his rounds of puppy shots. He is also has his rabies vaccination. Larry is very affectionate and easy going. He is a couch potato as well. He also gets along good with other dogs and he don't mind cats.

Popeye: 1 year old Alaskan Malamute/Lab mix ADOPTED ADOPTED ADOPTED ADOPTED ADOPTED ADOPTED

Popeye is a 1 year old Alaskan Malamute/ Lab mix. We had his sister Tinkerbell a while back. Shortly before he came to Our Critters he was shot by someone. His jaw was injured. With the help of a dear lady whom took Popeye under her wing, she got him some vet care. The vet  said Popeye would not need surgery. He had shot in his jaw that was picked out. The vet put Popeye on pain meds and antibiotics. I took Popeye to my vet last week whom inspected Popeye's jaw and said that Popeye was healing well and should make a full recovery.  Popeye also got his annual vaccinations including rabies at my vet. Popeye is heart worm negative and he has been started on hw prevention.

Popeye is house trained, even though he had never been in a house till he came here. He house trained himself. He will use puppy pads. He is really quiet in the house and very laid back. He gets along with all the dogs and cats here. He is really really humble. He is good with kids no matter how small. He had never been on a leash except when his friend took him to the vet. He is now leash trained and he does really well. He does not do too well in the car. He don't mind riding but he gets car sick. We have been trying to get him used to that. Popeye is good with people and would be good with kids. He is a little shy at first but once he gets to know you he is fine. Popeye weighs 51 pounds.

Popeye is current on all vaccinations including rabies. He is hw negative and on Sentinal hw prevention.

Ann was pulled from the Patrick County Pound along with her 10 puppies. The puppies have all found homes, and now it is time for Ann to find one.

Ann is 1 year old per the vet. She weighs 70 pounds. She is updated on vet documented vaccinations. She has been dewormed and is heartworm negative.  She is spayed.

Ann is very sweet and loves people. She rides well in the car. She leads good. She has a good recall. She gets along well with other dogs. She has been exposed to horses and cows. She does chase cats. This is to be expected with a hunting dog. I do not know if she will hunt. We don't hunt here! She needs a home with a big fenced yard or a farm where she has room to roam.

George is a chih mix. Not really sure what he is mixed with, maybe min pin. His tail is docked. He is around 3 years old. He will weigha around 15 pounds. He is really sweet and likes other dogs and cats. He is very humble. He was pulled from a kill shelter in Bristol Tn. He will go to his new home Neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and dewormed. He loves riding in the car. George had a really bad abcess that busted in his side. The vet said it could of been anything that caused it. He came from the shelter with a huge knot on him that busted a few days after he was here. He could have had a splinter or something of that sorts stuck in him. The abcess has almost healed all the way. He has finished up his antibotics. He needs to gain a little weight still but we got him on the right track. He is an angel in the house. You don't even know he is there. He is not yappy in the least. He loves curling up beside you in the bed at night time.

Lucky ( Special Needs Puppy)
 
Lucky's DOB is 1-27-09. She is a hound/lab mix. She should mature at around 35 pounds. She is very good with other dogs and cats. She don't mind horses or cows. She loves riding in the car. She is leash trained. She is house trained. She is current on all her vet documented vaccinations. She is a  very sweet puppy. It take her a tad to get to know you. Once she warms up to you she will be ok. She is accustomed to children and does well around them.

She is recovering from a broken leg and just got her cast/splint off. The vet gave her a  clean bill of health at her last checkup. The break was near her shoulder/elbow area on the front. She will never have the full range of motion that the other leg has. She can walk great and get around as good as any dog. She just has the stiff leg. She is a beautiful dog and has so much to offer.

Sparky& Spanky 3 mo Rat Terriers

Sparky( with the most white) and Spanky( with the most black) are 3 month old male standard size rat terriers. They are current on all vet documented vaccinations and dewormed. They will be neutered before they go to their new homes and started on hw preventive. They will mature at around 15/20 pounds. They have not been potty trained yet, but we can start that and get them ready to do. Rat Terriers need a home where they can get ample exercise. They are smart dogs and are generally easy to train.

Adoption fee on these is $150 each. I would love to see them adopted together but it is not required.

Shad is a 1 yro Labradoodle. He weighs about 60 pounds. He is current on all vet documented vaccinations and he is hw negative and on hw prevention. He is also flea free and treated with Frontline.

Shad prefers women over men ( a single lady would be ideal for Shad), but if a man is laid back and not over baring he would do good with a man. He is ok with kids but would would rather him go to a home with older kids (12 and older). He loves playing and due to his size he would knock a little one down. He is great with cats and could care less about them. He is good with dogs in general but he can have conflicts with territorial males. Shad is not neutered BUT HE WILL BE BEFORE HE LEAVES HERE. He is leash trained. We are working on some basic training with him and some manners refresher. He also loves to ride and he is crate trained and house trained.
